The device (1) has a pressure pump (7) conveying ink (2) from an ink container (8) and attached to an ink-print line (5). Multiple zonal ink dosing units (9) belonging to an ink dosing mechanism (10) are attached to the ink-print line, and are connected downstream with an ink spraying nozzle (18) for zonal spraying of ink on an ink roller (3). The nozzle lies at a distance to the ink roller. The ink dosing units are formed as ink dosing valves e.g. electrical magnetic valves (11), where the ink dosing units are electrically controlling and/or electrically regulating ink dosing units.
