The holder has a metal ring (1) with exact dimensions at its outer circumference like a P43t-socket of a H4 bulb and a central bore diameter of 32.5 millimeter. An axial P32d-5-holder is movable between two stoppers (3, 4). The holder adjusts an Osram D4S Xenon-gas discharge lamp by a spring (5) and/or an electromagnet (2). A shield plate (6) with a partially transparent perforation is utilized in a light bulb or used as a glass plunger for high beam and low beam switching. The holder determines the electric arc position.
