Yaw moment adjusting method for e.g. car, involves calculating additional steering angle based on detection of pressure loss in tire, and reverting regulating or controlling device for calculation of angle on cause-effect relationships
The method involves calculating an additional steering angle based on detection of pressure loss in a tire (3) for adjusting yaw moment (G) arising due to the pressure loss. The additional angle is applied with an appropriate torque (M) by an actively driven adjusting device of an active steering unit for achieving a reference steering angle. The additional angle is determined from a regulating or a controlling device. The regulating or controlling device is reverted for calculation of the additional angle on cause-effect relationships provided in engine characteristics. An independent claim is also included for a device for adjusting yaw moments with a road-bound vehicle.
