The conditioner (10) has a coolant circuit with an evaporator for cooling a fluid and a condenser for warming up the fluid, where a coolant is moved in the coolant circuit. The condenser and the evaporator are arranged in a common housing such that the evaporator is thermally effective in a defined geodetic lower fluid layer (110) and the condenser is thermally effective in a defined geodetic upper fluid layer (120) at an operating condition. Fluid inlets (50, 60) of the fluid are provided in the upper fluid layer at the operating condition.
