The method involves manufacturing two cage halves (2, 4), and laying the cage halves around a shaft section i.e. bearing journal, such that the cage halves form a cage ring. The shaft section with the cage ring is inserted into a plastic spraying tool. The cage ring is molded with a closed plastic casing (6). Recesses are formed for retaining a roller body (8) by a slide-gate valve. The cage halves are made of metal. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing an antifriction bearing cage for an anti-friction bearing arranged on a single-piece and a bent shaft.
