The method involves identifying a target tissue from an image data. A process model of expected ablation formation is generated for the target tissue on a basis of deposited ablation model data depending on defined or definable process parameters. The process parameter has an ablation energy cancellation mode, an ablation energy entry period and an ablation energy entry position. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a simulation system for simulation of ablation process in tissue volumes, which has an image data initial interface; and (2) a computer program product directly loaded into a processor of a programmable imaging processing system.
