The three-dimensional image of a photo, a letter and/or numbers manufactured by laser technology, consists of material e.g. wood, metal or stone machinable by the laser technology and a sealing layer. The grey-scale granularity of the photo or the background of the letter or number represents levels (2, 3, 4) of the surface (1) of the image different to the actual letter or number. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of a three-dimensional image picture.
