The pencil has a sharpener and a blade for molding a lead (14) in a holder (16). The sharpener and the blade are axially movable with respect to the lead when the holder is attached. Handles (20) are provided for axial shifting of the sharpener and the blade with respect to the lead. The blade and a coil spring are loaded for producing a flexible resetting force, where the resetting force preloads the sharpener and the blade into its resting position.
