The brush i.e. toothbrush (1), has a brush head (2) supporting a cleaning element (4) i.e. bristle bundle, and a brush neck (8) arranged between a grip handle (6) and the head. The handle has a number of ribs (10) including front sides (14) that form contour of the handle. The ribs extend to a preset depth into the interior of the handle. The head and the neck are formed by a base component that forms a grip handle core. The ribs extend upto the core that is made of a hard component. The grip handle has an entire circumference formed by a soft component.
