The method involves providing a holding device with a partially cylindrical outer surface that includes magnets. The cylinder is attached into a cylindrical carrier e.g. tube. Hard fluid is introduced between the carrier and the holding device such that a solid matrix (4) is formed for fastening of the magnets, after hardening. The holding device is separated from the matrix and the magnets, after hardening of the fluids, and is removed from the carrier. The carrier is made of soft iron. The magnets are positioned on the holding device using a tappet made of plastic.
