The window (10) has an air duct (12) designed in a window frame (11) to allow air flow (L1) from an inner side (I) of the window to an outer side (A) of the window. Another air duct is provided to allow another air flow from the outer side of the window to the inner side of the window. A heat exchanger (17) is arranged in or at the window frame. The heat exchanger is traversed by the air flows in channel sections, which are separated and adjacently arranged. The heat exchanger includes metallic air conducting profiles (18a, 18b).
