The pipe has hermetically encapsulated area formed within wall (1), and vaporization zone, condensation zone, working medium and a system for feedback of a working medium into the vaporization zone in the encapsulated area. The medium is condensed in the condensation zone, and a part of the wall consists of flexible material. The flexible part of the wall is folded into interior space of the pipe, so that pressure change is produced in the interior space of the pipe. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling heat transfer in a pressure controlled heat pipe.
