The method involves transferring data to an identification number (ID) over a network at a time interval, where the data are read and stored from the network by an interface (3). The data are converted into a graphical display and provided for displaying. The time interval for developing the ID is read for the selected ID within a time period. The time interval for developing the ID is represented by a mark after sorting the time within a liner time response. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for analyzing of data in the network used in the motor vehicle.
