The trampoline (1) has a jump cloth which is clamped in a jump cloth carrier (2), where the jump cloth carrier is shiftable to an oscillating vertical movement by a lifting device. The jump cloth vertically moves for a distance which is in the range of 3-10 centimeter. The lifting device has an eccentric drive (4) which converts a rotating movement at a drive shaft of a drive motor (3) i.e. electric motor, into a linear movement. The drive shaft rotates at a speed of 60-120 revolutions per minute.
