The headphone has a housing for accommodation of an electroacoustic transducer, which comprises a magnet system or driver system. The driver system is arranged in an angle (alpha) of less than 90 degrees. The electroacoustic transducer comprises an oval or rectangular or elliptical diaphragm, and has an elliptical-shaped bowl, elliptical-shaped magnets, an elliptical-shaped pole flange and/or elliptical-shaped moving coil. The diaphragm and the magnet system are accommodated by oval or rectangular chassis, which is made of plastic.
