Human skin examination and classification method for use during e.g. plastic surgery, involves determining radiation and penetration depth depending on degree of absorption and/or scattering by scattering of radiation in skin layer
The method involves determining radiation and penetration depth depending on a degree of absorption and/or scattering by scattering of electromagnetic radiation in a skin layer after classification of the skin layer. Strength of a stratum corneum is determined from remission of the radiation of a wavelength of 350 nanometers. Strength of an epidermis is determined from scattering characteristics of the radiation in Rayleigh- and/or Mie scattering. Penetration and/or dosing of electromagnetic waves for diagnosis is determined according to the strength of the corneum and the epidermis.
