Pre-impregnated composite material fabricating method for e.g. automobile industry, involves applying torsion on yarn to compensate length differences presenting trajectories of yarn on both sides of width measured in parallel to surface
The method involves applying torsion on a twisted reinforcing yarn (F) upstream of its deposition in a manner to compensate differences of length that presents extreme trajectories of the yarn on both the sides of width that is measured in parallel to a deposition surface i.e. temporary support. The yarn is connected to the deposition surface using a polymer binder material comprising thermosetting polymer, thermoplastic polymer and mixture of polymers in a form of powder or a self-adhesive resin or hot-melt. The yarn is chosen from carbon, glass, aramid, silica, ceramics and mixtures. An independent claim is also included for a pre-impregnated composite material.
