The apparatus (1) has a controller (15) functioning as determination, search and changing units. The determination unit determines whether car park of greater priority fixed as navigation destination is full or available based on availability information. The search unit searches priority car parks in the order from a high priority to a low priority until obtaining an available car park, when the car park of high priority is determined as full. The changing unit changes the destination of the car park of high priority to available car park when the available car park is successfully found . Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for performing road guidance (2) a data-processing medium comprising a set of instructions to be performed by a computer for carrying out road guidance.
