Body's e.g. artificial satellite, gravitational and/or inertia acceleration measuring method for use in e.g. geophysics, involves calculating gravitational acceleration of body from measurements of acceleration provided by accelerometers
The method involves acquiring measurements of acceleration i.e. acceleration signal, provided by an accelerometer (11) that is integrated to a body and situated inside a superconducting enclosure (111). Measurements of acceleration i.e. another acceleration signal, provided by an accelerometer (12), are acquired, where the accelerometer (12) is integrated to the body and is not situated inside the superconducting enclosure. Gravitational acceleration of the body is calculated from the measurements of acceleration, and a deviation between the acceleration measurements is determined. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a method for measuring gravitational acceleration and/or inertia of the body moving in gravitational field.
