The method involves calculating a difference between braking settings (CI1, CJ1) of front wheels emanating from wheels anti-lock braking device, and detecting a variation of the difference. Braking settings (CI1, CJ2) sent to wheels braking devices e.g. caliper, are regulated to limit the variation of the difference. The regulation of the braking settings is restrained to limitation of the braking settings, and the variation detection is parameterable by using a parameter threshold of an acceptable string speed variation.
