The device (301) has three walls defining sides, and a set of bellows (24) perpendicular to the walls. The bellows define an internal narrowing presenting a geometric shape of circle, oval, rectangle, square, triangle and trapezium, for laterally wedging an object and limiting movement of the object from top to bottom. The bellows comprise an upper part (27) and a lower part (28) that contact with each other, and a separation unit permits opening of the device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a flan of raw materials such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard (2) a method for manufacturing a packing device.
