The device has a transparent material forming a guide provided with an upper surface and a lower surface, and an injection section permitting the input of a collimated light beam in the guide. The beam extends in the guide by successive reflections on the surfaces of the guide. An extraction section permits the output of the beam. The extraction section has a reflective microstructure (3.4) arranged in a surface of a side (3.2) of the guide. The microstructure has a plane surface causing the output of reflected light ray (3.5) of the beam affecting the plane surface, from the guide. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an optical guiding device.
