The piece i.e. sock, has a base (1) comprising an opening (10) on the top of foot at the level of kick zone (2) for visualizing the kick zone and permitting aeration through a port of an open shoe. The base extends until a peg (6) to entirely cover the back of the foot for protecting an end of the sock. A protection unit at the level of the bottom of the piece protects foot zones such as toes (3), heel (4) and cut ends (5) of the kick. A protection unit at the bottom of the piece includes a covering part i.e. band (11) such as toe guard, for covering the toe.
