RAPID COOLING SOLIDIFICATION NOZZLE FOR CASTING RIBBON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid cooling solidification nozzle for casting ribbons capable of stably casting amorphous alloy ribbons with less iron loss to be used for transformer for high frequency or the like in a single roll method.;SOLUTION: In the nozzle 4, a slit 43 through which melting alloy 2 flows is formed, the end surface 44 on the discharge side of the melting alloy 2 of a front lip 41 which is a part located in front of the rotating direction (traveling direction)of a cooling roll 5 from the slit 43 becomes an inclined surface. On the other hand, the end surface on the discharge side of the melt alloy 2 of a rear lip 42 which is a part located behind the rotating direction (traveling direction) of the cooling roll 5 from the slit 43 becomes parallel with a reference plane 45.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
