PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inducing differentiation from a mesodermal stem cell prepared from a mononuclear cell fraction separated from myeloid fluid or cord blood, or from an ES cell to a nerve cell or a glial cell.;SOLUTION: The method of inducing the differentiation of the mesodermal stem cell or the ES cell to a nerve stem cell, the nerve cell or the glial cell comprises addition of an ischemic brain extract to a liquid fundamental culture medium in culture.
