PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a tin-containing indium oxide used for an ITO coating material which is easily coated to form a transparent conductive film having little particle agglomeration, a high transparency, a low haze value even by using inkjet, a coating material for transparent conductive materials containing the tin-containing indium oxide, and a transparent conductive film formed by using the coating material for transparent conductive materials.;SOLUTION: The process for producing the tin-containing indium oxide comprises a step in which a cake containing indium hydroxide, tin hydroxide and water is dissolved in a water-soluble organic solvent, and a step in which a tin-containing indium oxide is formed by heating the organic solvent solution containing the indium hydroxide, tin hydroxide and water.
