PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permeable erosion control dam made of metal, capable of detecting the capture of a sediment flow through the use of at least part of a body of the permeable erosion control dam made of metal without a fracture of the body, and provide a sediment flow monitoring system capable of notifying a person of the capture of a sediment flow.;SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor is installed to the back surface of a flange surface on which pipes 15 with flanges are connected to each other on the downstream side of a conduit 11 so as to detect changes in physical quantities caused in the pipes 15 with the flanges due to the capture of a sediment flow with a grid-like wall 14a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
