PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductivity meter can discriminat the abnormality of an electrode, and a conductivity measuring method.;SOLUTION: The conductivity meter 1b equipped with a plurality of electrodes coming into contact with a liquid 5 to be measured and measuring the conductivity of the liquid to be measured from the relationship of a current and voltage across the electrodes includes at least a pair of constant current carrying electrodes 20 and 21 and at least a pair of voltage measuring electrodes 30 and 31 all of which are arranged at predetermined intervals so as to measure the conductivity, a power supply for feeding a constant current to the constant current carrying electrodes, the electric resistance elements 13-15 connected across all of the adjacent electrodes in parallel, and the reference electric resistance element 6 connected to the electric resistance elements.
