PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate comparatively simply and highly accurately a fatigue life of a welded structure on which a fluctuation amplitude load works.;SOLUTION: Finite element analysis by a shell model is performed, and a uniform stress component and a bending stress component at a fatigue life evaluation part 23 of a longitudinal face 21 are determined. A stress distribution corresponding to a welded joint form is extracted from a database, and the uniform stress component, the bending stress component, and a shape parameter of a member and a weld bead are input into the stress distribution, and a stress distribution of a plate thickness cross section 41 of the longitudinal face 21 is calculated. A residual stress distribution corresponding to the welded joint form and a weld toe processing condition is extracted from the database, and the shape parameter of the member and the weld bead, a material property and a weld condition are input into the residual stress distribution, and a residual stress distribution of the plate thickness cross section 41 of the longitudinal face 21 is calculated.
