SHAMISEN MADE OF EMPTY CAN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound quality and sound volume, with respect to a Shamisen (three-stringed Japanese musical instrument), made of an empty can and a manufacturing method for the Shamisen. PSOLUTION: An aperture is provided, by opening a whole or a part of a bottom section or a lid section at a front side of a body 1 of the empty can, while it is covered by a vibration cloth 2 made by a skin of an animal or a synthetic fiber, and fixed to a can sidewall 12 with adhesive in a state that tension is applied. Excepting that the body is made by the empty can, an amplification means of vibration of a string is a similar structure with a true Shamisen in which a true leather or an artificial leather is stretched, and thereby, it can be used for a concert etc., as the sound quality and the sound volume at the time of performance is not worse than the true one. Moreover, as each string can be rolled round by attaching pegs 71, 72 and 73 for ukuleles and guitars to a head section 6 which is provided at a tip of a neck 4, the problem that the string after tuning is loosened like a bobbin held only with conventional friction force of a taper section is solved effectively.
