PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair user getting-in automobile, and a wheelchair user getting-in method, allowing a wheelchair to get in through a door opening of the vehicle body side part and easily putting the wheelchair in a forward attitude.;SOLUTION: The respective seat cushions 30, 31, 16 of a driver's seat 13, a front passenger seat 14 and a rear seat 15 are raised respectively in the state of superposing on seated person support surfaces 35, 36, 18 of the respective seat backs 32, 33, 17 put in an raised state, the front passenger seat 14 is moved to the foremost position adjacent to an instrument panel 37, and also the driver's seat 13 is moved to the rearmost position where the seat back 17 abuts on the seat cushion 17 of the rear seat 15. While the wheels of the wheelchair 11 are rolled on a wheelchair getting in-out board 1 stretched between the lower part of the door opening of the side part of the vehicle body 2 and the road surface, the wheelchair 11 is moved from the road surface 29 to the interior of a cabin R, and subsequently, the wheelchair 11 which has moved into the interior of the cabin R is turned to take forward-looking attitude.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
