PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink stone in which enables an easy aftertreatment of India ink and prevents the evaporation of the India ink.;SOLUTION: The ink stone has an ink stone body, an exhaust port formed in the ink stone body, and a lid body. The ink stone body has an approximately rectangular edge surrounding the circumference, a hill part for grinding an ink stick which is located inside the edge, and an ink pond part connected to the hill part by a downhill. The exhaust port is formed near the corner of the edge on the ink pond side of the ink stone body and discharges the india ink in the ink pond part from the ink stone. The lid body is openably/closably installed in the ink stone body, and a bill part for closing the exhaust port is formed at a position corresponding to the exhaust port.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
