PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assess and make a suggestion about office environment including office layout in consideration of a moving distance to an office device in response to a customers's various requests, and to make clear presentation of an assessment result and suggestion details to the customer.;SOLUTION: An office environment assessment system includes: a data acquisition means for acquiring usage situation information of office devices and positional information on the office device and a user in the office; a path computing means for computing a shortest path between a device and the user using the obtained positional information; a layout display means for displaying arrangement of the device and the user based on the obtained positional information as office layout and displaying the computed shortest path in the office layout; and a position adjusting means for adjusting the position of the office device and the user in the office. If position adjustment is performed, the path computing means computes a shortest path after the position adjustment, and the layout display means changes the shortest path being displayed to a shortest path after the position adjustment, and displays it in the office layout.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
