PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition for inhibiting hepatic fibrosis, serving to prevent or treat cirrhosis or precancerous lesion by using a natriuretic peptide as an active ingredient. PSOLUTION: It is discovered that the natriuretic peptide has the inhibiting effects against the hepatic fibrosis by examining the in-vivo effects of the natriuretic peptide to an active stellate cell of the liver by paying attention to the stellate cell of the liver which can be said as a "target cell" in the prevention or treatment of the hepatic fibrosis, and considering that the inhibition of the activation of the stellate cell of the liver is important, and the invention is completed.
