PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat sink structure which improves heat dissipation of a spotlight. PSOLUTION: A convection cover 53 which covers through a prescribed spacing about one fourth range of the whole periphery of the outer circumference of a reflector housing 311 of nearly cylindrical shape provided in a body 31 of a spotlight body 3 is installed, and a cooling air passage 55 divided by a heat sink fin 52 is formed in the spacing between the convection cover 53 and the outer circumference of the reflector housing 311, and preferably the cooling air passage 55 is formed in a shape in which its cross-section is gradually narrowed from one end 55a side being the front side in irradiation direction of light toward the other end 55b side. By this structure, in the using state as shown in the figure, flow of the cooling air going from one end 55a side toward the other end 55b side is generated in the cooling air passage 55, thereby, cooling by heat exchange of the heat sink 5 is promoted and the spotlight body is suitably cooled.
