PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly insert an insertion part of an endoscope into a nasal cavity insertion path, a narrow and sharply bending path, without injuring the inner wall of the nasal cavity.;SOLUTION: A guide sleeve 11 is cylindrical, and composed of a thin-wall part 16 integrally disposed between adjacent rib parts 15 and 15. By gathering all the rib parts 15 at the shaft center position and folding the thin-wall part 16 outward, the guide sleeve is contracted so that the outer diameter becomes smaller than the insertion part 2 of the endoscope 1. The contracted diameter of the guide sleeve is retained by winding a binding tape 20 from outside to form a contracted guide sleeve 11S. The contracted guide sleeve 11S in this state is inserted into the nasal cavity insertion path having the narrow and sharply bending path, and by inserting the insertion part 2 into the contracted guide sleeve 11S, the insertion path of the insertion part 2 can be secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
