PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room entrance/exist managing device which can notify surrounding people of an unauthentic unlocking action by a warning sound or the like before an outsider disfigures or breaks a door, and can exert the convenience of a non-contact IC card.;SOLUTION: The room entrance/exit managing device is formed of an electric lock which can be electrically locked and unlocked, and can output an electric signal for detecting an open/closed state and locking/unlocking state of the door; the non-contact IC card 23 having ID information for determining whether entrance into a room or a building is permitted or not permitted; a reader section for reading the ID information from the non-contact IC card 23; and a control section for controlling the electric lock 13 and the reader section. Herein the room entrance/exist managing device has an antenna for the reader section arranged in the vicinity of a key cylinder of the electric lock, for reading the non-contact IC card 23, and therefore the unauthentic unlocking action can be detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
