PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net for catching great cormorants, capable of passing fish and inhibiting the passage of a great cormorant and enabling the capture of the great cormorant once caught by the net.;SOLUTION: The net has longitudinally elongated rectangular meshes 9 to facilitate the passage of fish 2. The meshes adjacent to each other are displaced by 1/2 of the longitudinal dimension, and the center part of the warp 5 is supported from both sides by the wefts 6 of the adjacent meshes 9 and, accordingly, there occurs little expansion of the lateral dimension A of the mesh 9. Accordingly, when the neck of a great cormorant 4 enters into the mesh 9 and the feather of the cormorant 4 is hooked with the warp 5, the cormorant is difficult to escape and can be caught as it is.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
