PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use limit prediction method of a storage apparatus used for acquiring a determination element, when selecting a proper storage apparatus by specifying and analyzing a usage limit prediction time (prediction lifetime) from a characteristic of log data transferred from a specific host apparatus. PSOLUTION: A test script is generated from the log data, and a computer storing the test script is connected mutually to a specific storage apparatus; then the rising coefficient, based on the temporal change of an erasure count value is computed, and the usage limit prediction time of the specific storage apparatus is computed from the rise coefficient and the maximum value of erasure count displayed on the specific storage apparatus.
