PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a large-space roof structure having steel frame constructing and the large-space roof structure having steel frame construc tion whose cost can be reduced because roof steel-frame total weight can be reduced without trouble even in structural mechanics and the structural member of a lower skeleton can be also lightened in company therewith.;SOLUTION: A member consisting of a steel material having highest strength by high strength steel or the like is disposed to a circumferential member on an outermost circumference in circumferential members, members composed if steel materials in which strength is reduced by stages towards insides in the radial direction are disposed to a plurality of the circumferential members on the insides, respectively, and the roof structure is formed in a structure, in which the concentration of load is prevented by arranging the members comprising the steel materials in which the rigidity of the members is changed by stages towards insides in the radial direction as compared to the circumferential members of the large-space roof structure at a time when all members are constituted of the same steel kind.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
