PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a dithiolate-based metal complex having an organic group having carbon atom at its bonding position, or hydrogen atom simply in a good yield.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the complex is provided by effecting a compound expressed by formula (1) [wherein, R¹, R² are each independently a substitutable organic group having carbon atom at its bonding position, or hydrogen atom, and R¹, R² may form a ring by becoming one unit; and X is O or S] with a base, reacting with a metal compound and then performing the oxidation reaction in the presence of an acid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
