PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high precision length of a parison, i. e. the wall thickness of the parison by detecting the length of the parison and controlling the wall thickness of the parison based on the length of the parison.;SOLUTION: In a parison wall-thickness control circuit and a method for adjusting the wall thickness of a blow molding machine using the circuit, with the use of a detection signal (24) that the distance (22)between the lower end (20) of the parison and a standard position (21) is detected by a parison length detecting linear sensor (23), the weight of a parison setting value (30a) is corrected, and with the use of a parison wall-thickness command (25) obtained by correcting the waveform of a waveform setting value (31), the wall-thickness adjustment device (5) of the blow molding machine (1) is controlled to control the length of the parison (8) to be constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
