PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user having an authority to change, to update contents of a contributed article and to automatically inform browsers of contents of the contributed article before update that browsed contents have been updated, with respect to a user contribution type page like a bulletin board where the right to access is set or electronic news.;SOLUTION: A method of updating contributed articles has; a register step of registering the right to access which permits contribution/browsing/update of a contributed article; a recording step of recording browsers who browse the contributed article; and a contributed article update reporting step of updating the contributed article and reporting this update to electronic mail addresses of browsers of the contributed article, who are recorded in the recording step, by electronic mails.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
