PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window which is high in water sealability between the roof mounting part and jamb of the bay window, and which facilitates mounting work.;SOLUTION: This bay window is equipped with the roof, the jamb and a flashing cap; the jamb has a skeleton mounting part protruding sideward; in the roof, a skeleton-side end of a fascia board of a wing part has an almost perpendicular side-surface part with no flashing part; a lower end of a roof mounting plate of the roof butts against an upper end of the skeleton mounting part of the jamb; the flashing cap has a side covering part and a front covering part; the side covering part covers the perpendicular side-surface part of the roof and an upper end of a side surface of the jamb; the front covering part covers a lower end of the roof mounting plate and a front butting part at the upper end of the skeleton mounting part of the jamb; an upper part of the front covering part of the flashing cap has an upper inclined surface which is inclined toward the side of the roof mounting plate; and a lower part of the front covering part has a lower inclined surface which is inclined toward the skeleton mounting part of the jamb.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
