PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DTP data editing system, DTP data editing method, and DTP data editing program for efficiently extracting necessary data from DTP data such as a pamphlet or catalog. PSOLUTION: This DTP data editing system is provided with a data selecting/extracting means 10 which selects and extracts text data 6 and additional data showing attributes accessory to the text data from DTP data 3, an item symbol applying means 50 which applies an item symbol to the text data 6 from the attributes of the extracted text data 6 based on an item DB22, a grouping means 20 which groups the text data 6 based on the item symbol, a color designating means 60 which designates a display color in order to display the text data included in the group in a color different for each group and a display output means 30 which displays and prints the text data 6 in the color designated by the color designating means 60 at a layout position.
