PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a receivable channel from an non-receivable channel to display EGP data in an information processing device with a television broadcasting receiving function. SOLUTION: The information processing device is provided with a television signal receiving means 1-1, a display means 1-7, a sound output means 1-6, a data broadcasting receiving means 1-2 or a communication means 1-17 for acquiring electronic program guide data, a memory 1-9 for temporarily storing various kinds of data, a secondary storing means 1-10 for storing the various kinds of data, a signal level detecting means 1-5, a television control means 1-3, an input means 1-8, and a control means 1-19. When the electronic program guide data is displayed on the display means, the data is displayed, so that the receivable channel is distinguished from the non-receivable channel on the basis of channel setting data for each area stored in the secondary storing means, and a receiving state for each channel detected by the signal level detecting means.
