PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly cope with a case when a measuring result becomes abnormal, by measuring a surrounding state, in a work site using a construction civil engineering machine.;SOLUTION: This work environment monitoring system monitors the surrounding state when operating the construction civil engineering machine. The system has a measuring apparatus for measuring the surrounding state of a pile press-in extracting machine 1 as the construction civil engineering machine, and outputting a measuring signal for indicating the measuring result. The system also has a data gatherer for gathering measuring data by receiving the measuring signal. The data gatherer outputs a determining signal for indicating a determining result, by determining whether a state indicated by the measuring signal is a preset normal state or a state of stopping or restricting preset operation of the construction civil engineering machine. When the determining signal indicates the state of stopping or restricting the operation of the construction civil engineering machine, a controller 11 of the pile press-in extracting machine 1 stops or restricts the operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
