PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment joining method for shortening even a construction period, by facilitating assembling, without requiring high accuracy for assembling work, without simultaneously joining a segment and a piece and mutual rings by a highly reliable inexpensive joint metal fitting having high joining accuracy and strength, by easily and accurately assembling by the small number of part items. PSOLUTION: This joint metal fitting is composed of a male type joint metal fitting 1 arranged in mutually joining one side member and having a joining bar 3 extending in the other side member direction, and a female type joint metal fitting 2 arranged in the other side member, inserting the joining bar 3 of the male type joint metal fitting 1 and locking this joining bar 3. The joining bar 3 of the male type joining metal fitting 1 is slidably installed on a front plate 5 with a slide hole fixed to the one side member and having a slender hole.
