PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economize fuel and reduce time for boiling and consequently reduce the generation of CO2 as a result of burning the fuel by stopping hot water boiling up in cold water halfway for heating the cold water with the hot water, thereby preventing the warming of the earth.;SOLUTION: The device for quickly boiling water in a tank comprises a smaller receiving tray 2 of a tray-shaped metal facing downward at a lower position above a delivery port 5 of hot water in a water tank 4 and a larger tray 1 facing downward at an upper position. Hot water coming up from the delivery port is received by the lower receiving tray 2 to heat cold water thereabout.
