PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing the breakage of a recording media, even if inappropriate operation is conducted, when removing a recording media out from a push-push type recording media reading device.;SOLUTION: When mounting a recording media with a recording media reading means, the recording media is pushed into a corresponding recording media reading means to mount; and when removing a recording media from a recording media reading means, the mounted recording media is pushed in further. Thus, in a digital image receiving device, provided with a push-push type recording media reading means which is constituted to be pushed out automatically, after it is once detected that the recording medium has been mounted with the push-push type recording media reading means, it is reconfirmed that the recording medium has been mounted with the push-push type recording media reading means, after a prescribed delay time; and then, access to the recording medium is started.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
